Singing Live: "We Are Singing"

Twelve wonderful contestants took part in "We Are Singing", the first singing competition organized by the Office of the Dean of Students, which ran from 17 April 2020 to 12 May 2020 and treated viewers to a feast of music. While competing, each of them also represented the university's clubs.

Moderated by Ece Günbay and Ömer Batuhan Özmen, the competition was enriched by distinguished jury members including Nilay Oğuz, Semiramis Talita Çalışan, Alper Karaot, Celal Eldeniz and Masis Aram Gözbek. As the competition, which was both entertaining and informative about music, gathered pace, celebrities also wanted to be part of the project.

On 1 May 2020, singer Reyhan Karaca, whose timeless songs have accompanied every moment of our lives, was one of the surprise guests of the We Are Singing competition. Starting with her journey in her music career, Karaca shared very important and valuable insights with newcomers who want to advance in the industry.

Then, on 4 May 2020, the guest was Hande Ünsal, whose recent songs are talked about everywhere, whose success keeps growing day by day and who sang with great energy with about 4,000 students at the Welcome Fest on 19 February 2020. Hande Ünsal took part in the program both as a guest juror and by answering questions about herself.

At the end of the competition, Ozan Can Balcı took first place, Öznil Ataç second place and Elif Derin Bazi third place, and each received a Teknosa gift voucher.
